Shipping Destinations and Options
We are pleased to offer free international shipping on all orders.
We currently ship from Latin America to the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Express shipping options are available at checkout for an additional fee, with rates and delivery times depending on the destination and courier selected.
Please note: if your order includes items from more than one brand, your goods will arrive in separate parcels, as each shipment is dispatched directly from the designer’s studio or warehouse.
Fulfilment & Dispatch Times
Each brand we work with has its own unique fulfilment timeline. You can find specific details for each item under the product description.
In-stock items: Typically dispatched within 24–48 hours
Pre-order items: Dispatched within 7–30 business days, depending on the designer’s production schedule
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email containing tracking details, allowing you to monitor the progress of your delivery at your convenience.
Please note: tracking information will be updated within one (1) business day of dispatch.
Transfer of Ownership
Ownership of the goods transfers to you upon delivery to your designated shipping address. At that point, Bazar by Hotbook shall no longer be held responsible for the condition or handling of the goods.
Duties and Taxes
By placing an order with Bazar by Hotbook, you acknowledge that this is an international transaction, and that goods are being imported for personal use. Any applicable import duties and taxes will be calculated and included at checkout (Delivered Duties Paid), ensuring a smooth delivery with no additional charges upon arrival.
To simplify customs clearance, your order authorises Bazar by Hotbook to appoint a designated carrier and/or customs broker to act as your unpaid agent for the purposes of completing customs declarations and submitting entries on your behalf.
Region-Specific Information:
United States:
Under Section 321 of the U.S. Tariff Act of 1930, goods valued at USD $800 or less may qualify for duty-free import, provided that:
The order does not exceed the $800 threshold;
Multiple shipments to the same individual on the same day that cumulatively exceed $800 may be subject to duties;
Consolidated shipments under a single air waybill (AWB) or bill of lading (B/L) that exceed the threshold may not qualify.
European Union:
All goods imported into the EU are subject to VAT, regardless of value. However, goods valued at €150 or less are generally exempt from customs duties. These costs will be reflected at checkout in your final order total.
Asia:
Duty-free thresholds vary by country. For example:
Japan: Goods below ¥10,000 (~$90) may qualify for exemption;
Singapore: GST applies to all imports, with no de minimis threshold;
China: Duty exemptions vary by category, with a general threshold around CNY 50 (~$7).
All applicable duties and taxes will be calculated at checkout when available.
Bazar by Hotbook processes all shipments in accordance with local customs regulations and applies duty-free exemptions when eligible under applicable laws.
